Uttar Pradesh Administration Grants Class-IV Job to Wife of Deceased BLO in Hathras

After the sudden death of BLO Kamalkant Sharma in Hathras, the Uttar Pradesh administration has appointed his wife, Neelam Sharma, to a Class-IV post under the deceased quota. The decision, announced by DM Atul Vats, provides crucial financial support to the family following the officer’s unexpected passing.

In Hathras district of Uttar Pradesh, local authorities have extended financial security and support to the family of a deceased Booth Level Officer after his sudden death left them in distress. Neelam Sharma, wife of late BLO Kamalkant Sharma, has been appointed to a Class-IV government post under the state’s compassionate grounds policy.

Kamalkant Sharma, a resident of Brahmanpuri in the Sikandrarao tehsil area, was deployed on duty under the SIR process when he unexpectedly passed away. His death prompted district officials to review the family’s circumstances and initiate relief measures. District Magistrate Atul Vats had earlier assured that the dependent member of the family would receive an appointment under the deceased quota, a commitment now fulfilled with Neelam Sharma’s recruitment.

The decision has brought a measure of stability to the grieving family, which has publicly expressed its gratitude to the administration for the timely intervention. Officials noted that such compassionate appointments aim to safeguard families from financial hardship following the abrupt loss of a government employee.

The incident underscores the role of compassionate employment policies in providing immediate socioeconomic relief, especially in cases where public servants die while in service. For the Sharma family, the appointment marks a vital step toward rebuilding their lives after an unforeseen tragedy.
